Hi There!

 

Welcome to Kelsi Fischer Designs, located in the Bay Area of Northern California. I got my start in the design industry 5 years ago at California State University, Fresno from their accredited design program where I got my Interior Design Degree. While there I learned the valuable art of multi-tasking, while having a full time course load of design classes, I was also one of starting players on the Fresno State Equestrian team, traveling all around the country throughout the school year, using any surface in my hotel rooms and arenas to lay out my drawings and homework. I very quickly developed a passion for great design, designing with both form, function and aesthetics in mind. My background entails designing both residential and commercial spaces, proficient in Autocad, as well as Adobe creative suit with my course studies focusing on 3-D renderings, space planning, building codes and FF&E selections.

 

My approach  to design is to keep the space bright and airy, while using space planning to maximize the room’s potential with accommodating furniture and people. Listening the client to understand what the spaces true use will be and defining that with the use of furniture, wall treatments and lighting. Keeping the rooms’ base neutral but adding fun pops of color through rugs, artwork and throw pillows.

 

In my spare time, you can find my working on my own little fixer upper, whether it

be on another house project or working in my garden, I am always tweaking and designing.
